Prior to relocating to Asia in the mid-1990s, James spent time in a United Kingdom Government role specializing in bi-lateral relations between the UK and Central and Eastern Europe.
With a consulting career in Asia spanning twenty plus years and, residing in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Bangkok, James has acquired an extensive understanding of issues surrounding global mobility, initially as the owner of a Hong Kong-headquartered executive search company, working with many multinational companies around the world.
After his business was acquired by a global top five firm, James settled on a broader consulting career, capitalizing on his wide range of contacts to assist companies with market-entry and business development in Asia. He has over 100 professional publication on actual tax topics (including articles in “Forbes” and “Business Emirates”). Maxim joined Duvernoix Legal as a senior associate in 2012. Since June 2015 Maxim is the head of tax practice of the Firm.

Michele has close to 20 years of experience in investor/client relations and communications. She joined UOBVM 2006 and is responsible for developing and executing its investor relations strategy. Prior to this, Michele spent time honing her skills in Corporate Communications and Marketing in a MNC and the civil service. Mr. Nestor Alfred is the Chief Executive Officer of the Citizenship by Investment Unit of Saint Lucia. His career has been primarily within the financial services sector, having worked in the domestic and international (offshore) financial sector. He has held senior and executive positions within the banking sector in Barbados, Cayman and Saint Lucia as well as working experience in taxation; auditing and regulation/supervision.
Mr. Alfred has also acquired extensive expertise in the area of compliance and anti-money laundering during his stint as Head regulator/supervisor for Saint Lucia’s offshore and domestic Insurance sector. He is a trained IMF/Caribbean Financial Action Task Force (CFATF) Mutual Evaluator.

Olderigo is a tax partner with more than twenty-five years of tax specialist experience within Deloitte in Italy, in the US and, currently, in China.
In Italy, after working at Deloitte’s Rome and Milan offices, he became tax partner in Florence, where he established and led the local tax practice from 2000 to 2008.
From 2008 until 2012, he worked at Deloitte US in New York as Managing Director of the Italian Desk, assisting many Deloitte US clients with their investments in Italy.

Raphael is graduated in International Wealth Management, Accounting and Finance at the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis (France). Originally from London, Rhiannon has worked in the Willis Towers Watson Hong Kong office for five years. Originally focused on building and growing business for the large accounts book across Asia, she is now responsible for leading and developing the Fine Art and Jewellery Team within Hong Kong and driving business development more broadly within Asia.
Her previous experience in the intelligence and security world has provided her with a deep understanding of the importance of precision analytics, industry knowledge, and strategic risk management. She has worked with a broad plethora of clients, from government authorities and cultural associations, to international galleries and Ultra High Network individuals.
Rhiannon has spoken at the Hong Kong Gallery Association, the Philippine Art Fair, Art Stage Singapore and at various banks including UBS, Citi Private Bank and Julius Bär on Art Insurance topics. She also spoke at the International Fine Art and Specie Insurance Conference in Portugal in 2018.
Rhiannon received a B.A. from University College London in Classics and a M.A from Kings College London in Intelligence and International Security.
Samir has spent in excess of more than Fifteen years in the banking industry in India having held leadership and technical roles in institutional, wholesale, retail, commercial and merchant banking. Whilst his background was in Operations and Compliance, in recent years, Samir has acquired significant expertise in developing and implementing regulatory compliance frameworks and AML frameworks and policies to drive appropriate levels of governance in the business. Past roles included the Handling AML compliance for New Business for IndusInd Bank and HDFC Bank.
More recently Samir has developed frameworks and managed AML and KYC in multilateral jurisdictions. He has successfully implemented automated AML monitoring system in his previous Banks. He has expertise in preparing AML & KYC framework with close integration with local regulations as well as US Sanction Programme to have robust processes. He has also successfully implemented customer enhance due diligence procedure and practices across his career. Samir currently works for RBL Bank Ltd which is part of one of the fastest growing Bank in India and which operates in all parts of the country. He is the Head of AML Operations for the RBL Bank in India.
Samir has advanced qualifications in Banking and MBA in Financial Management from Mumbai University and active member of ACAMS.
Sebastien Hayoz joined Asiaciti Trust in October 2016. He has a law degree from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland and worked in a Geneva Law Firm before joining the trust and fiduciary industry.
